CJ Fly is a hip-hop artist from Brooklyn, New York who has made a name for himself in the rap game. From the start of his career, CJ Fly has been known for his unique blend of lyricism, catchy hooks, and experimental music production.


His career began in 2011 when he was featured as a vocalist on the Beast Coast’s “Survival Tactics” single. This helped draw attention to him and he was soon picked up by Pro Era, a hip-hop collective formed by the late rapper Capital STEEZ. 


As part of Pro Era, CJ Fly released his first solo mixtape, The Way Eye See It, in 2012. The mixtape featured CJ’s signature blend of experimental music production, clever wordplay, and memorable hooks.


CJ Fly has also become known for his live performances. He has toured with the likes of Joey Bada$$ and Flatbush Zombies. He has also been featured on the shows like Sway in the Morning, Ebro in the Morning, and Hot 97.


CJ has been an integral part of Pro Era, releasing multiple solo and group projects. In 2016, he released his album, Flytrap, which continued to build upon his signature sound. He has also been featured on projects by Joey Bada$$, Kirk Knight, and others. 


CJ Fly’s most recent single “Money” encompasses the unique and strong sound fans have come to love from him.
