Jockstrap is a London-based musical duo consisting of Georgia Ellery and Taylor Skye. The musical duo first crossed paths at London's Guildhall School of Music & Drama in 2016. They formed the band in 2018 and quickly gained attention with their unique blend of experimental pop and R&B. Their music is characterized by the blend of Ellery’s soft vocals and string arrangement with Skye’s electronic production.  In an interview with NME, Ellery described their music as "an amalgamation of things that we enjoy – it’s a bit like a Frankenstein’s monster of all the stuff we’re interested in." 

One of Jockstrap's most notable releases is their debut album, "Wicked City," which was released in 2021. The album features a range of eclectic tracks that showcase the duo's experimental approach to music-making. In an interview with Radar, Ellery explained that the album was inspired by the idea of a city that is both beautiful and dangerous: "We wanted to make something that reflected this strange, almost surrealist space where these two things coexist."

Jockstrap's live performances are also known for their unique and visually striking elements. The duo often incorporates elaborate costumes and stage design into their shows, creating a fully immersive experience for their audiences. With their distinctive sound and captivating live performances, Jockstrap has established themselves as one of the most exciting new acts in the UK music scene.
