Meet Jaylon Ashaun, the musical prodigy from Houston. He felt a connection to music before he could even talk, and by the age of 4 he was already singing. Ashaun continued his musical education throughout his entire childhood, and at age 23 he decided to move to Atlanta to pursue his music career. 

March 2019 was when Jaylon’s career really took off. In the midst of the pandemic, Ashaun was releasing “Rough Drafts” on a weekly basis. These were one-minute teasers of songs he was crafting. Ashaun shared the rough drafts on social media, igniting a wave of excitement about what he was working on. Ashaun was receiving such positive feedback from fans and fellow artists, he felt inspired to finish many of the songs. This was also the beginning of Ashaun’s collaborations, as artists were discovering him and were eager to complete the songs with him. 

While Ashaun’s music blends various different genres, he’s commonly described as an R&B artist with a crisp, commanding voice. He adds elements of hip hop, which gives his music a fun feel-good vibe. His songs are not only catchy, but also layered with depth and vulnerability. With every song, we get a glimpse into Jaylon’s life.
