Artist Spotlight: All-American Rejects
From “Swing, Swing” to “Gives You Hell,” The All-American Rejects have spent two decades delivering timeless pop-rock anthems—and now, they’re back and fully independent.
Formed in 1999 by Tyson Ritter and Nick Wheeler, the Oklahoma duo quickly rose from high school bandmates to international hitmakers. Their self-titled debut introduced the world to their emotional hooks and powerhouse melodies, but it was Move Along that solidified their place in rock history—with hits like “Dirty Little Secret” and “It Ends Tonight” defining an era.
Now, after more than a decade away from releasing new music, they’ve returned with “Sandbox”—a bold, hook-driven single that marks a new chapter. The track is accompanied by a chaotic, cinematic video directed by Joseph Kahn, paying homage to the band's legacy of unforgettable visuals (and featuring a few demonic puppets for good measure).
And they’re not just back in the studio—they’re on the road this summer, hitting major arenas nationwide.
With “Sandbox” and more music on the way, they’re proving that the best songs—and the best bands—never go out of style.
